Organizational Resilience in Intensive Care Units

Tarcisio Saurin and colleagues at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, are conducting an international research study on organizational resilience in Intensive Care Units (ICUs). The results will provide a perspective of resilient performance in ICUs from several countries, while also allowing the analysis of correlations between resilient practices and contextual characteristics of ICUs, such as number of beds and rate of occupancy. The research team hopes to analyse whether the number of COVID-19 patients at the ICU has an impact on resilience.

You are invite to take part in this research by filling out a questionnaire available at https://pt.surveymonkey.com/r/XGQBZFJ. The expected time for answering the questionnaire is no more than 15 minutes, and the respondent must be a professional in a managerial position at the ICU (e.g. chief-physician, chief-nurse). The unit of analysis is the ICU, and therefore only one respondent is needed from your ICU. Responses must reflect the current ICU status, according to your opinion. Thank you for participating and please do not hesitate to contact Tarcisio at [email protected] should you have any questions.
